TLDR
I’m definitely talking about vanheat. It means penis, but there’s a childish connotation to it.
They’re not offended. They just think you’re wrong. Stop using that word.
Call it what you want. You’re acting like a little bitch, and we’re all having fun with it.
This is the response of a man who is not, nay, could not, be offended.
He is a dink.
I disagree with your opinion about how improbable Eminem’s career is, especially in relation to Drake’s.
My point is that characterizing Eminem as a factory worker and not an underground battle rapper is disingenuous. I used Bar Mitzvah boy as an example of something that Drake technically is, but doesn’t really inform his public persona.
And factory worker wasn’t Eminem’s career. It was a day job.
Is that the Spinal Tap style show? My uncle had some old tapes of that.
Ya that’s a real head scratcher. Can’t figure out why they went the way they did.
What if Serge was ON THE BUS?!
Referring to him as a Detroit factory worker isn’t really the same. It’s like calling Drake Bar Mitzvah boy.
It’s telling that they had Norm on first. Some people are really well-suited to be talk show guests. Too bad you can’t make a career out of that.
I don’t think anyone in Happiness is portrayed as villainous or evil, though. I think the pedophile actually comes off better than his wife, because at least he realizes his actions are bad, while she’s a bitch to everyone for no reason (although in real life I suppose I would have to side with the wife, because she…
Definitely not. FUBAR didn’t get to many film festivals, but it’s a Canadian classic. Sort of like Trailer Park Boys, but a lot realer. It’s a mockumentary about two headbanger types who live in Calgary, just real wasters who don’t do anything but drink beer and listen to metal. You’ve definitely run into guys like…
I think she’s being a very good sport about it. It could have gone another way, and I like to believe Norm would have backed off, or at least Conan would have mediated.
That being said, Happiness was still an outlier, even for the time. Even Solondz himself couldn’t top it. I’d love to see someone attempt something like this again. I kind of hoped Ricky Gervais had it in him, but I don’t think he has that much to say about truly taboo topics.
And you even saw her married to Jim Belushi.
