Wow, seriously?? So, don’t look for a job at a bank? Haha

Yeah, oh well. It still amazes me how many people don’t know how to use bullet points or a simple spreadsheet. I don’t know why more companies don’t put employees through a basic computer training class. I mean, I would even run it!

I love how half of operations gets shoved onto IT. Where I work IT is responsible for creating said labels as well as reports. It kinda sucks. I didn’t go to school for IT to design labels. :/

This would be a great AMA on Reddit.

I work in IT Support and what you’re saying about dirt is true. I know exactly who’s looking for a new job and who’s surfing the web all day.

Not large enough! I have around $1500 set aside right now, but I am more focused on paying off some debt. I had a few emergencies hit and didn’t have an emergency fund established, so I’m playing catch up right now. Once I’ve paid off that debt, I’ll start building this found out a little more.

Many times this is preferred. If I’m in the middle of working on something, I don’t like having my concentration broken. Sometimes it’s hard to get into that productive mode.

Everyone is scared of Windows 8. :p

I’m always looking for good resources, so this is great. Also check out bento.io.

Yeah I hear you. You must've gotten a bad one. :(

I've had mine for a while and I didn't have any issues. I don't use bluetooth for it or anything really. It's too unreliable to use for something like a mouse when you're gaming.

It's also the only mouse I've ever seen that is rechargeable through a normal USB cable that also connects the mouse to the PC at the same time. It switches over to the wireless connection seamlessly. I've had mine for a couple of years and have yet to have any issues with it. The Logitech software that comes with it

Haha, my Dad always made a comparison like this too. He called them people miles.

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't see the other replies to this.

I always hated that. Could be any number of issues and it probably is something that got fixed. I didn't switch to Windows 8 right away, so I can't tell you for sure. It's definitely good now!

Totally agree. If you right click on the taskbar, there is a submenu for search that allows you to change it to just be an icon.

What kind of issues have you had with gaming? I'm running Windows 8 on my gaming rig and I haven't run into any problems.

Very well said. Linux has come a very long way over the last 10 years. I've installed Ubuntu on multiple desktop machines and have never run into issues. It's always been plug and go.
