I'm just waiting until we can turn it up to 11.

MY OG Droid is a tank. I will miss it when I upgrade to the Galaxy Nexus. I kind of wish the GN had the Razr's hardware, instead. (In terms of ruggedness, but with a removable battery)

Agreed, although that part wasn't written by Pash.

Seriously, tell these people what's up. I stopped drinking soda and opted for water. I always drank Coke, (not diet/max/zero/etc.) and enjoyed it. But I decided to give it up. 15lbs just from that. And that's with no other lifestyle changes—no difference in exercise, no other dietary differences. Just water

Butters619 is referring to the % of the whole. Not the actual amount changed.

I was about to write this same comment. This is what I have ALWAYS used. The problem is as you said, sometimes the ports are not facing a logical direction. For instance, vertical USB ports that aren't perpendicular to your viewing angle? Who knows.

Yea...while I don't like Apple, it's a smart move to offer the first hit for free. Oh wait. That's something else entirely...

It doesn't matter if JoeMaizin has standards, unless JoeMaizin is in a position to actually make it happen. He's just stating factually that many scientific experiments are done on mice and monkeys/apes before human beings. I'm pretty sure he never said it's the right thing to do, or the wrong thing, or took any

If they let me package my own stations, and I could get JUST ESPN + SNY (in NY), I would be sold. The rest of the channels I need/want? Broadcast over the air. Sure, maybe I'd want FX as well (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, anyone?) but come on...less than 5 channels, is what i want...

Not a Kindle person...yet. What I'm wondering is if these prices are "ad-supported" prices, or if they're ad-free. The images seem to imply ad-free, but I know better than to trust marketing images.

Interesting. I'd never heard that.

Slightly repetitive in parts, but a nice article anyway.

It's a shame that people keep talking about it like a "miracle diet" or like it's a "secret". Because I'm pretty sure everyone knows it already.

Both of which are generally scorned. People like to hate on GameFly (for quality and questionable utility of the service), and people like to hate on BitTorrent. (for legal issues)

Movie was my gut reaction. I'm not surprised about the hole—it's not a perfect circle, but it did punch through rather cleanly because let's face it, those lenses are built solidly, and compactly. Coming from an arbitrary height, it would be going fast enough to puncture a pretty clean hole, I'd say.

I'm in the same boat. My upgrade eligibility came 9/1, and I was REALLY tempted to go out on the 8th and pick one of these up. It's a nice phone and I personally really like it. If there was no rumor of a Nexus coming to Verizon in (or around) October, I would have walked home with it. But I can't help but hope

Roomba for the scheduled vacuuming! (ftw?)

I've never been one to have allergies. My girlfriend, however, is allergic to dogs/cats. (I believe it's dander?) Has anyone found successful medication to reduce/eliminate such allergies? In her case it's generally sensitive/irritable skin but also comes with sneezing, etc. I don't have any pets now, but I am

Where's the option for: "This sucks. But not as much as their streaming selection. I'm keeping my 1 DVD at a time..." ?

There's nothing wrong with their DVD service. Obviously turnaround times suck, but their offering was SIGNIFICANTLY better than their streaming. I for one never thought twice about keeping DVD only. Although I will eventually cancel that too, unless I can switch over to streaming for convenience AND
