@DigiMish: You need to have something pretty unique to patent it. Patenting the FPS camera would be like saying "I'm patenting SHOES. No one can wear shoes from now on without paying me."

@mabadaba: Eh, it's probably just so they don't get pinned into one category. They might be able to get into the "look at the dots, it's just any directional controls!" thing, whereas pinning it to a d-pad might make it too specific to the PS(P) hardware, since the Sony Playstation-style D-pads are unique from most

Well, considering they're still supporting the PS2, it seems like the "10 year cycle" just overlaps two generations, rather than framing them in succession.

@Bricked: Hey I completely agree with you about what SHOULD be done. I'm just also saying that I understand what IS being done.

@DugDawg: Shame you beat me to it because you basically said everything I've been thinking about it since the early stages of the beta.

I actually learned to like Basecamp because we use it at my office. I hadn't heard of it before then, but I do really like it.

Is this even a question? TANOOKI DAMN YOU!!!

@cheezr: I disagree that it works BETTER, but it does work very well. Twin stick is still the way to play, but having the spin move mapped to circle is a very nice perk of Remote Play.

Comic Book Guy used to be great, but in more recent episodes (recent is defined very loosely, I stopped watching new episodes about 6 years ago, I think) I found that he wasn't as entertaining.

@SocraticMethod: Yea, I'd hope so. But it's funny to think that even at .03 per item, about 80% of them aren't worth the money.

@i_pooped_on_: Eh. I'd agree that it's a great game, but I very much disagree that it was deserving of so many awards, personally.

Yea. Except $.03 is too expensive for the stickers that I'd likely never use.

@Kovitlac: I would hardly call PSN crap. It's been free since it launched, and I'm VERY happy with PSN in general. Are there a few things I'd like to see tweaked? Of course. But I'm really happy with my free service exactly how it is right now.

@MrTheMoopie: "The cost of the games themselves is made to (as it should be) offset online game costs"

@Aipaloovik: Yea Sony is a business, but if they alienate their own market that's not too smart either.

Eh, I'm a man of principles. If monthly fees are required to play games online, I would not be buying the next generation of console. I refuse to pay for something that i believe should be free. The cost of the games themselves is made to (as it should be) offset online game costs—and on our side we pay for our own

@GhostTheSaint: I was never able to get into MGS4's "MGO". It was a great concept, and very interesting, but it didn't FEEL right. The controls weren't quite right, and the game was plagued with lag early on (I played in the beta, and played in the first week of launch, and again a month or so later, but lag and

@GreatMario: Much thanks again for responding intelligently, despite my response possibly being abrasive to yours.
