It’s not a frivolous lawsuit, but it’s also not a winning lawsuit. McDonald’s is only discriminating against people not in cars, not people who can’t drive cars. He can still get a taxi for his late night McDonald’s fix or ride with a friend. Since more or less everyone can ride in a car, there is no discrimination

You are incorrect regarding the McDonald’s hot coffee lawsuit. McDonald’s admitted in the trial that the coffee they served was intentionally served at a temperature that was too hot to consume. They were quite proud of that fact, and made a clear statement that they intended to continue serving coffee at dangerously

Always loved these, but I mainly do long distance driving now and having to stop every 3 hours for gas isn’t really acceptable in a car this expensive. Since it’s basically just a track car anyway, I’d prefer the 2-door.

I don’t know if this is mitigating, or a straight-out indictment of the Aston, but it sounds like my 1986 Pontiac Fiero has the same parking brake situation. But I’ve always appreciated that once engaged, the parking brake lever isn’t obnoxiously intruding into the limited physical space in the car.

The V6 for all Saturn Vues from 2004 to 2007 was the Honda engine, GM code L66. The only difference between the Redline and regular Vue was suspension work and different fascias - the engines and transmissions were the same.

My dad has a pretty good story about a bright orange late 70’s Super Beetle he used to own. Eventually it developed a glitch where occasionally the engine wouldn’t stop, even if the ignition was turned off and the key removed. To turn off the engine he had to open the rear deck and manually stop the fuel flow.

When I was in design school way back in the day, we had some Honda designers behind the Element visit and it was basically a two-hour investigation of Where It All Went Wrong. At least they displayed the appropriate level of shame at how thoroughly they missed the mark.

Seems unlikely that the A33 Maxima (1999-2003) spoiler adds any appreciable downforce, especially considering the front-wheel drive. It seems more likely designed to improve fuel economy. I'd believe a handling improvement on later A34 Maximas (2004-2008) with the lip-type rear spoilers, not sure I'd buy that claim

It's probably all a factor of international safety regulations. Europe requires higher hoods & bumpers to try to protect pedestrians who might be hit by the cars. The giant grills are probably just an effort to hide all that flat front real estate. It was really obvious with Audi models introduced in the mid-2000s,
