Yeah that’s totally fair. In theory they make the reusable pads so you can fold them up into a little pouch with the used side facing in, but I wouldn’t really want to have to put that in my bag and carry it around with me (I guess it would be ok if you put it inside a little bag?). I only use those out and about if

These are all things I figured would happen to me. I hate tampons because I get streaks of blood when I pull them out. God help me if I have to DUMP OUT A CUP AND WASH IT IN A PUBLIC BATHROOM. Nobody needs to see that. Ugh. Gross. And what do you do while you don’t have the cup in? I have a really heavy flow when my

Almost the entirety of modern american culture is meant to make me uncomfortable. Excuse me if I don’t give a shit about the waste generated once a month by maybe a dozen tampons during a time for the comfort of my own damn genitals.

What are your favourite recyclable period products?

Reusable pads are a thing too. And sea sponge tampons that are reusable. Also period panties. There are options for people who can’t use cups for whatever reasons.

I always used cardboard because SOMEONE (thanks mom) told me they were flushable. Luckily I didn’t use them often enough that I ruined our pipes. About three years ago I started using a cup, and now I’m one of THOSE people who will tell you how it revolutionized my period experience and all that jazz.

The only thing that would make Trump run into that school would be scantily-clad Russian prostitutes/contacts having a KFC bake sale.

neh... my problem is that im poor and blue collar.. and regardless of who runs the world im gonna have a shit of a job making sure the familiy is fed and dressed

I think we have a few problems here. One is that the Republican party has been gutting public education to get the American population to this level of dumb for awhile.

Seriously though, it seems even more telling that Dunham characterized his lines as a “massive insult of white women” rather than a fairly tame insult towards her character/show (and clueless hipsters like her) specifically.

I swear some of these posters don’t really care about human rights or anything like that because otherwise they wouldn’t be giddy at the prospect of Chinese dominance. They want one master to replace the old master.

Oh there in plenty of shady shot going on. One colonial master has been replaced by another, all at the expense of Africa.

That’s something a white person would say.

There were marches and protests and demonstrations all across the country. And yes, some Canadians are racist and evil.

And right on cue the comments are coming in from all the experts on the First Nations in Canada, the Canadian legal system and white people explaining what isn’t racism.

Can we stop conflating Tina Fontaine and Colton Boushie? Tina was a vulnerable child who was targeted by some old pervert.  Colton was a grown-ass man who was drunk when he and his friends tried robbing a family and then got himself shot. Apples and oranges.

Graham Norton I have no problem with. But paying Gary Lineker £1.75m per year to present Match of the Day is ridiculous. People watch Match of the Day because of the football. Bing bunny could present it and they’d still watch. And Chris Evans’s salary is utterly ridiculous. Yes, 9.1 million people listen to his radio

Rule in publishing: S/he who writes the story almost never writes the headline. Or, depending on their “rank,” even has a say in it.

I read it as actually being the center of the piece, and Fraser’s motivation for doing the interview to begin with, but something that couldn’t be approached directly. I can see how some readers would think it was downplayed, but I thought the structure actually reinforced the message that the sexual assault was a

MC Chris (he did quite a few different voices on Aqua Teen Hunger Force and some other Adult Swim shoes) came forward with his story yesterday after reading Brendan’s account.
