My buddy and I played L4D for hundreds of hours, and we played this for about 6 hours last night. Our ONLY complaint is we wished the enemies were just a tad more difficult. I don’t know if it’s related but r/tlou2 has been outright banned on Reddit.  My vocal dislike of the game lasted a couple days, and then I moved on as any rational sane person would do.  It’s been WELL over a year and these people still act like Neil came to their homes and killed their beloved pet.

I think without those big press conferences I wouldn’t have heard about a lot of the smaller games that look really cool.

I just wish/hope that more of them hew closer to the L4D formula and avoid classes/character abilities (for the protagonists, anyway), and definitely avoid any sort of level grind nonsense. L4D is still playable because of its simplicity. Don’t gild the lily.
