This definitely feels like one of those situations that ‘brands’ should resist the urge to comment on.

Steven Smeagal.
The Defector article you linked is great (and lol at not linking whatever zombie deadspin wrote). I’ve kinda been bummed about this all last night and today, though. What a shitty situation.
When I first read the headline I thought it meant reloading the game. This gave me an interesting idea for a horror game. What if there was a random chance, like say 1%, that when you died, your save game would be deleted?
Any time I hear DMX, I always think back to my high school sports and weight room. You want to get fired up? You put on some motherfucking DMX. It’s impossible to not get hyped.
Another Sony cash-grab. Meanwhile Microsoft gives you old games for cheap prices and upgrades visual fidelity and framerate for free.
For me the upgrade to a PS5 now was that my OG PS4 was way too long in the tooth at this point and I never did the “pro” model upgrade. I delayed playing many exclusive games over this as I didn’t want an experience I would have personally found subpar.
Alt-itis isn’t a problem. It just means you’re having fun and want to do all of the things. Nothing wrong with that.
Backlog month? 2021 is my backlog year lol. With the exception of a few multiplayer games to hang out with friends, I’ve mostly stopped buying games to focus on cleaning out the log.
I mean I do. There’s also been something nice about trade shows and cons when I’ve attended. E3 I was lucky enough to attend in 2011 thanks to Xbox giving me a free pass. But it’s something I grew up with and followed each year back when it was being held in Atlanta, Georgia.
There’s no reason to staff/server/etc. all the way up so that you can handle the big spike of people on the first day.
I’m thinking a lot of those girls don’t like their thirsty viewers, but they still turn them on.
If Twitch wants to be softcore Onlyfans, that’s great...as long as they’re up front about it.
Wild how EA gets shit on so much but Activision is actually Scum
Not preserving video games is like throwing away old films. You want that movie from 1957? You can’t buy it anymore. We don’t care about it. It’s gone forever unless you already own it. Let’s focus on the future of movies. Screw preserving past films!
That ain’t workin’, that’s the way you do it, you do the gaming on the Twitch TV...
Electric bill guy, I’ll make fun of mercilessly.
I was never a fan of Killhouse. It was a DLC map and it was hardly in the original CoD4 standard map rotation.
If you’re a 90's kid you can still vividly remember the smell of a freshly opened pack of Pokemon cards. Actually, hold my beer. I gotta email Yankee Candle.
I told her that neighbors are more important than a stream and stopped streaming.
This is the correct attitude.
