As an American...imagine living in a place with actual penalties for breaking lockdown. During ours last spring it was never anything more then a pretty please suggestion.

Is it 1992 again already?

As a mid-30s guy who played a lot of games, specifically Animal Crossing and its built in sense of virtual community, during all of this to keep sane and in touch with friends and family, this NYT article can kindly fuck off. I’ll keep sussing my 8-year-old nieces and nephews in Among Us from afar on a weekly basis (be

Nothing but a little rest. Heading into 2021, I was hired as the video editor for Thea Trinidad (FKA Zelina Vega in WWE)‘s revamped Youtube gaming channel that goes live this weekend, so it’s been a lot of tireless working and some sleepless nights getting content ready. It’s been a daunting but wonderful opportunity

I think it’s probably a mix of several things:

if it also has spaceship stuff implemented as well as boats were in Black Flag, and different planets I am SO THERE for this.
It’s A LOT more exciting of an idea than the stuff EA has been doing with the licence.

Force power based traversal... nemesis system with the sith fighting amongst themselves and the stronger ones rising to the top... collectible blade hilts and crystals with different attributes and fighting styles.

I follow Twitch and keep up with the streamer / influencer space in gaming...

I mean, I’m up for anything that gets that much money raised, but I do suppose your ability to watch games played fast IS more important than ending cancer.

I briefly thought about making a sarcastic comment about his weight/ health and the “surprise” of him dying.
But that seems tasteless. He was a human being who left friends and family behind. People will mourn him. I’m sorry I even considered the joke for a second. And I hope no one else is “that person.”

daily reminder to wear a goddamn mask and distance until this shit is over or we will continue to get stories like this.

Jeez. Rest in peace. Please stay safe out there gang. Wishing everyone all the best and deepest condolences to Jarods friends and family.

I was born in ‘86 and have been a game show nut since birth. So I have not known a world without Alex Trebek hosting Jeopardy and honestly, still not prepared for it.

I like how you assume that implementing a polished, fully-functional third-person mode is somehow a trivial amount of work that the developers were just too lazy to do. I mean, it’s not like they were crunching for years just to ship the game with one camera perspective. Nope, gotta be laziness. Damn lazy devs!

I’ve heard nothing but gushing about Ghost of Tsushima since it came out, so I’m pretty surprised to not see it get more recognition. I haven’t played it, so I have no opinion, but it just sounded like everyone loved it.

It’s kind of funny that TLOU2 isn’t on here, given some of the other games that appear. It’s probably my goty, although I’ve still yet to start Hades and I haven’t finished Cyberpunk yet.

I think for 2020 the game I was most impressed with was Astro’s Playroom. That is an amazingly solid and robust platformer for something that was essentially a demo of the PS5's hardware.

Start speedrunning Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction and a couple other games. My big obstacles so far are the lack of designated gaming space, which will hopefully be solved when we move in early summer. Then I need to get an Xbox Series X (fastest load times and great backwards compatability means you can play

Probably not, but if you sign into the PlayStation Store on a PC, you should be able to add the PS5 version to your library for when you eventually do decide to get a PS5. (Seemed to work with Bugsnax at least.)

I am happy that other than Jeffree Star (and only because of this site), I have no clue who any of these people are.  Clearly I am one of only a handful of people due to the amount of $$ generated by this list.
