As a competitive Apex Legends player, I disagree with you. You can learn a tremendous amount from other players, especially ones who play at the highest levels. It is no different than being a high school football player and watching an NFL game.

I can understand not missing actually being on the show floor and dealing with all that stuff, but as someone who doesn’t actually attend E3, I do miss it a lot.

Oh shit yeah. My biggest worry for Fall Guys was that people wouldn’t want to pay for a game in the vein of so many free to play games out there, and it would die from lack of community.

Attack of the Show needs to come back. There’s just a certain playful energy about the crew interacting (booing and cheering) at the hosts that hasn’t been recaptured yet. Plus it’s nice to have some more tech-oriented “non-ish gaming” content on the channel.

Okay, if G4 is being brought back from beyond the beyond, a couple of suggestions:

For my money, there’s nobody in the intervening 6 years who has stepped in to fill the weirdly subversive, genuinely funny, and wickedly sharp shoes of X-play...so I’ll be tuning in (if tuning is the thing I need to do to watch it). If this new G4 can capture that spirit, I’ll certainly be happy.

Totally agree. Everything about the demo was pressing the nostalgia button in my brain. I loved it. Plus local co-op hell yeah. Now all they need to do is say that multiplayer isn’t class based and goes back to the days of having to pick up weapons on the map.
