So, who exactly is this thing for?

Why would anyone want a performance street vehicle with a 1.6L engine? That would be awful at low speeds.

“Yeah, I would say in a full electric world it’s easier to certify a hypercar.”

Yep. My step dad owns his own truck and used to live in Oregon and mostly do hauling between LA and Seattle.

What if a 1971 Pontiac Firebird and a Ferrari Daytona had a baby? It’s an insane question, but GM came up with this answer:

Remember when Dodge built an Avenger sedan rally car? No one else does, either. That was a weird one to me.

The Nissan GTR Juke was pretty rad. Ended up making five of them so probably disqualified. 690 horsepower in this thing, bananas.

This looks like a normal Ford Tempo, right? One of the most dull, adequate, unmemorable cars ever? Like, not even a lumbering outlandish harvest gold on avacado green velour Malaise era beast, no, just the bland comedown from too much Brougham.

This monstrosity “created” by Will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas:

just remembered this glorious beast

The answer is, BMW V12-powered, central driving position, mid-engined, all-wheel-drive (not mini) van: The Italdesign Columbus.

I see it more like how whenever Europe adds in some random law to the internet and then the whole internet changes it’s ways to accommodate them.  If a trucking company can’t do business in California anymore, it’s going to upgrade all it’s trucks asap.

Porsche 914/8. They put a race engine in the 914 and gave it to Ferry Porsche, who apparently didn’t even like the car very much. Absurd but cool.

Just because you don’t know about assistance programs does not mean they don’t exist.

The California Truck Loan Assistance program is for small businesses and owner operators that need financial assistance to upgrade their trucks.

The Bureau of Auto Repair Consumer Assistance Program pays up to $1200 for smog repairs

Yeah... government requiring that a house you have built have good air quality even if you do decide to get a gas stove. What a bunch of assholes...

Did you actually read it?

It says in the article that if they are going to ban anything (which they say they are not likely to do) it will be gas stove hookups in new construction. More likely, they will recommend modifications to the building code to increase the ventilation requirement for those that chose to install

It’s for commercial/fleet vehicles only, which are primarily going to be semi-trucks, medium duty box trucks and buses.

IIRC, it didn't pass committee

Vehicles banned all day today... EV’ s in Wyoming,

It’s only trucks? Misleading headline. It had me dreaming of a sudden bounty of rust-free diesel W124s for sale, cheap.
