I did some research on e-cigarettes a few years ago and people liked to claim that e-cigarettes are “95% less harmful than traditional cigarettes.” I’m a scientist by training, and very few things are ever 95%, so alarm bells immediately went off. Exclusive pumper here and it’s weird being called a hardass. No one has shamed me for not nursing, but I feel a tinge of guilt... or maybe it’s just a regret for not having the bonding that comes with nursing. Some do. My little one never took to nursing. I tried in the first few days, but she lost so much weigh that her pediatrician told us to just get her fed by any means possible. So I started pumping exclusively during week one. I kept trying to pop the boob in her mouth, but she just wasn’t having it. I’m still going…

This is my situation as well. My job gets stressful, but bossman only cares if we get our work done on. Strolling in a little late - fine. Leaving a little early - cool. Need to take the kids to the dentist in the middle of the day - sure. Work is completed - all good!
