I loved the Captivate I got to test for my company. It was really fantastic for video playback, and I really lost any desire to use my iPhone at all while using it.
This is amazing. While the 7D is obviously superior, the fact that the Barbie is even capable of capturing any video and transferring that to a computer is such an indication of how far we have come with the commoditization and miniaturization of video recorders.
I'm hoping that the beat Microsoft and Apple to the punch and release some aspect of video gesture control or natural interface to their systems. Front facing cameras might increase the accuracy of google speech commands, and also might provide a consistent non-contact interface for controlling multimedia.
I really do like this concept. The ability to exist with a reasonable (?) expectation of energy consumption without increasing pollution is a goal that just makes sense.
