I really do like this concept. The ability to exist with a reasonable (?) expectation of energy consumption without increasing pollution is a goal that just makes sense.

Using the same app as ehed (SpeedTest.net) I'm getting 676kbps down and 55kbps up in Times Square with full bars. This hasn't changed much since last year.
