Not everywhere is Monaco. Most people will stay in Miami Beach, where all the events are. They won’t stay anywhere near the track, and not in that neighborhood.

From the commentators on F1 TV it appears the biggest advantage is tire wear and temperature management. Going toe neutral on the straits appears to reduce outer tire wear and allows you to cool the tires more on the straits allowing for pushing the tires harder for longer in the turns.
Mercedes has worked with FIA from the start to make sure this system is legal. The old days of throwing a bunch of R&D money into a whole new system with questionable legality are long gone, especially given Mercedes’ recent financials.
You could also do it without articulating the tie-rod, but you can’t get as much of a geometry change (though the effort to pull the rack back should be lower, and the design is mechanically simpler):
Exactly, its about reducing friction going straight. Theres an aero component I’m sure but reducing friction and extending tire life is a big wins here. It could mean on less tire change in a race.
Irregardless isn’t a word, irregardless of its use in colloquial English.
I was thinking even simpler, instead of the steering rack having a solid rod, it’s now 2 pieces with a L and R threaded turn buckle. Like adjusting the toe on crossover steering kits for Jeeps but within the rack.
are they doing season 3? if so, will mercedes benz allow them in their paddock this time around? I remember Toto being upset in hindsight given that the race they allowed them, for the Germany GP, its when Mercedes shat the bed and kinda blamed it the film crew because people were distracted and whatnot.
Villenueve says this will not be a viable series. But he is available for a drive.
Lazy generalization. Don't, you're not helping.
Obviously you haven’t seen Vettel out of the car. He’s one of the best personalities in F1.
I’m assuming they did survive if a second season is coming. Or will it be a new cast, also trying to survive?
Are you sure about this? I’d like to know your sources.
Aston-Martin is not involved in F1 at all, except for a sponsorship deal.
How could I forget that great execution of French racing black!
Personally, I love black F1 cars. Black always makes for good liveries.
Black and white. Yuck.
I imagine the venn diagram of “people that buy energy drinks” and “bearded males that drive lifted F150s and have a ‘low T’ diagnosis” is essentially just a circle.
By your own math, the flu kills .1% of infected people. The coronavirus kills 2.6% of infected people, 26 times more.
the problem is it can be dormant showing no signs or symptoms for 2 weeks, and then takes about two weeks to get over. So people are still getting infected and exposed unknowingly, and by the time they find out, they’ve already exposed a number of other people.
