Mercedes’ long-run pace is insane right now. I’ve heard several analysts who believe they’re at least a second clear of Red Bull, with Ferrari a bit further behind. I know it’s testing, but it’s not looking good for anyone who’s hoping the dominance ends.

I think season 3 should start with Racing Point blatantly copying last year’s Mercedes. We’re not even a day into pre-season testing and we already have our first kerfuffle.

I don’t think that’s the thing at all. It’s perfectly OK to not like someone. I think the reason so many dislike Lewis is because a) he’s been dominant and people like to see different winners and b) he’s sort of hard to like.
