Jason Statham doing an American accent is always great. He just usually gives up mid-sentence.

“She’s gotten an enormous amount of unfair hate because she’s become a symbol of strong women standing up to misogyny”
mostly no.
True, but there’s also the potential for further isolation.
But that would take effort, I say just place a large cactus somewhere and enjoy.
Calderon is actually using the Asia series as prep for her Super Formula season in 2020.
Heeeeyyyy..! That’s the 80s you’re talking about...
“We all know that F1 is hardly a merit-based system unless you’re one of the 10 or so best drivers in the world, so even if a woman had the most talent there’s no guarantee she would get an opportunity.”
Apart from the car being quite different, it wouldn’t really say that much since the F3 Americas isn’t a top F3 series. If you really want to compare these ladies with the dudes in similar equipment, just check out their actual performance against those guys when competing directly against them.
for people to miss the F1 race I guess, as the support races are generally in the morning.
Hate to be that guy but those are very much not F1 cars.
“I do a lot in the other activities in my life, where I see people, if they are blessed, they get $30 a month,” he said. “In certain countries. So we should not forget that.”
“ Let’s all take a breather and appreciate this historic moment for what it is—a female driver is joining the ranks of men in a series for the first time. Her results this year will speak for themselves.”
No, because see everything else I said.
That’s entirely fair, but the issue is that the people behind the W Series don’t have the financial capabilities Red Bull has. They still should have enough to at least Chadwick a good FIA F3 seat next year, but she’ll bomb because she’s never faced competition like that, and then what?
Good thing Jamie Chadwick’s parents are rich then. And Beitske Visser’s. And Tatiana Calderon has tons of sponsorship behind her to keep taking good seats from more capable drivers.
I really like her, but signing a 28-year old who’s never competed in single-seaters before isn’t a ringing endorsement for the quality of the competition.
why not create some opportunity in F2?
I would’ve gone with Formula Ew.
There aren’t any teams in the W Series. All cars are operated by Hitech.
