It’s actually kind of fun watching all these automakers realize that this is the end of the road for gasoline-powered monsters, and it’s like every engineer on staff knows it. Dodge has put the Hellcat engine in... everything. Even a Durango. Because sure, why not?

This is precisely why we say all cops are bastards. These police murdered a man, lied about it, and they’re superiors did absolutely everything they could to cover it up.

That would go well with all of the fake American flags and Punisher logos.

Louisiana State Police called the officers’ action “awful but lawful.”

They’ve said just that, no need for 2 $100k ‘verts in this market.

I would buy Rivian stock due to how they started the company.  You can tell they’re playing the long game here with how they are doing it through private cash raises at this point and are pretty much done setting up production.

Toyota, they may be going slowly towards the EV market but they look way ahead and they sure as shit have a roadmap. When they get up to speed on EV’s they will probably do like they have with the Corolla, Camry, and RAV4 and build solid mainstream electric appliances that sell. Also their learning from the past with

I don’t invest.

Personally, as a brown man, if I were dumb/desperate enough to do something like this I’d rather suffer vigilante justice than whatever will happen to me once the cops arrive

How is hottubbing not included in “Swim and beaches”? Shove your concern trolling straight up your ass. Thanks.

We are probably across the Rubicon on that one already

“the lowest U.S. service and warranty costs...in the first three months of operation.”

“Alfa times a week” - take your star

This is great info for all those people who own cars for 90 days at a time which is (checks notes) absolutely fucking nobody.

If they're extrapolation is accurate, that 90 day cost times X dollars is future cost, then it helps gauge for the long term owners what cost out of warranty could end up like. It's a very poorly worded explanation by the author of the survey.

If I read that right, it sounds like lowest service costs for both the consumers and the car makers, since it includes warranty. At first the 90 days makes it seem useless, but if those are total launch and manufacturer costs post launch then that may hold true. Would be interesting to see the data of bad launches

I was really surprised see EVs having twice the first 90 day cost. I can see doing an oil change in the first 90days, but what could you possibly need for an EV in the first 3 months?
