Seemed more Hyundai to me.

I don’t hate it.

Purple is my favorite color, and while I’m not wild about the interior, the exterior is glorious. I’m sick to death of all the black/grey/silver/white you see pretty much everywhere. It’s time for car makers to go bold.

I see nothing ugly about this. A mid-size three row FWD SUV is what’s hot in the Chinese market right now. The design touches, including the purple and white, actually cater to popular Chinese tastes.

Are you fucking insane? That purple is gorgeous! Sure, it may not be for everyone. But still, all the complaining this site has done about the lack of colors available on the market, and you come out here stumping for BEIGE!? Someone get this guy a banker’s box so he can pack his shit.

Same here. Color looks awesome! Even the beige one.

I’m reminded of the plastiwood that was standard on the final-generation (2006-2013/14) W-Body Impala, even the base LS and Police Interceptor trims.

Sing it with me, fellow eighties/nineties kids:

Genuinely can’t bring myself to hate it.

You guys whine about boring colors, then whine about bold colors.

What’s wrong with the purple? At least it’s something other the boring as hell black/white/silver/grey options.

Honestly I think it’s good that Toyota is taking the time to make the GR86 an even better car and I’m not mad at all

Like “A BMW”, sure I’ll give you that. Hard to escape that feeling with the all BMW interior and engine. On the other hand, all the reviews I’ve read indicate the Supra differentiates itself significantly in the way that it drivers compared to the Z4. The latter feels more like a grand tourer while the Supra is a

They are gonna be so disappointed when they find out the Supra 100% feels like a BMW

If the goal is to differentiate from Subaru, that seems counter-productive.

just add electric motors to it to give it another 100 horsepower from a dig similar to the ram 1500. market it as “e-drift” also having a mild hybrid system should give this respectable city fuel economy.

They could try lifting it and putting some black plastic cladding on the wheel wells, I hear that’s pretty popular.

I’m glad I’m not the only one wondering who let Austin Powers drive the ship.

And the longer it’s in there, the more screwed we are...
