That’s a very good point. Hybrid should be the standard engine now, especially for Toyota cars and crossovers. They almost all pay for themselves in less than a year at this point on gas savings alone, plus more power, less brake wear, etc...

After seeing one in person, it’s definitely an 80% sized, rounded off Rav4

What’s the advantage of buying the GT over the standard Mach-E? Sure it’s a bit faster when you give it the beans but it’s not like it sounds better or drives more dynamically. I’m struggling to see the appeal of the model that’s 50% more money.

The Soul, Maverick and Impreza are all good choices but I’m going with the Corolla Hybrid. Toyota reliability, hybrid fuel consumption, and standard safety features all in a completely normal compact car.
