I looked at a Golf when they finally got the 1.4T. It was an amazing car but they were charging GTI money for it due to the interest rates and incentives compared to the GTI, they were never going to sell being uncompetitively priced compared to the corollas and civics of the world.

The Solstice. Bring it back as a Corvette sub-model. Corvette is now mid-engined, the Camaro is going electric. This is the perfect time to bring back a Miata/86/BRZ fighter.

It suffered most from being the middle child. People that want more than a Camry were usually willing to jump to the Lexus. I’ll have to keep my eye out on the used market for one now, I really loved that Cognac interior.
