I’m strictly talking about the 6MT but the CVT with the first gear is pretty good too.

Yeah, most people never pre-pay so they usually don’t have one. 

The Mazda hatch is even worse for that. It’s not a deal breaker for me but I can see where someone else wouldn’t care for it

That’s a good choice too! I only picked the Corolla to talk about in this thread because it’s been at least a decade since the name Corolla was associated with anything fun. 

Most of the time you lose discounts if you pay with cash. Tom has tons of articles on here about the vast benefits of financing a car versus paying cash, especially with rates this low.
