I really like them too. They’re just slightly taller hot hatchbacks and there’s nothing wrong with a hot hatchback!

Yep. I’m probably going to go to Geico next once I’m done with Progressive. Liberty Mutual and American Family have always quoted me low too. I make sure I look at quotes from lesser known companies too as they often undercut the big guys, but they’re a lot pickier with their customers though.
When I worked briefly for a large insurance company, we were told that after two years with an insurance company a customer is 99.93% likely to stay. That’s when the gloves come off and your rates start creeping upward (when really, let’s be honest they should be going down every month as your car looses value). Ever…
I think you’re putting the cart before the horse. All of these Active, X-line, Trailhawk, Adventure, Allroad, etc sell well and add profit margin. I agree with you that it’s silly, but people are willing to spend a few extra grand on the macho and rugged look. Can't blame the car companies for going with the trend
Europe has the GTD which fills that niche. I’m shocked thay we’re not getting the GTE. 250hp plug in hybrid GTI seems like a no-brainer
I only ever saw one about 9 years ago in college. Luckily I was with my car enthusiast buddy and we both did a double take as it drove through campus. I’ll probably never see another one again lol
I’m legitimately am way too excited for this and the hot Corolla hatch ( hopefully it’s not just vaporware).
Congrats dude! It’s such a good feeling not only paying less but knowing that it’s going toward equity.
I’m sure at this point, it’s in the agreement between Ford and VW to not sell the Amarok in North America. I’m not sure how well a VW pickup would sell in the US anyways.
Megazord fighting a monster on one side, Dragonzord fighting another monster on the other!
The next Ford Ranger and Amarok are supposed to be platform mates, so in a way soon you will be able to!
Anything by ZZ Top but the ultimate driving song is Miserlou by Dick Dale
I’d buy this if it were available. I love the way that it looks, so square! I wonder how much it would be?
It’s not too hard to argue the benefits of an EV over an ICE but like you said, once you bring HEV and PHEV vehicles into the argument, a full EV doesn’t hold up.
For me, it’s not when it can out-do a standard ICE car for the same price but when it can out do a PHEV car for the same price. The Rav4 prime has 42 miles of EV range and will get you most of the EV benefits of say a Model Y but cost less and it can be fueled at a gas station if needed all while using a fraction of…
That’s a really good point.
I enjoy endurance racing and rally. I respect the bigger ones like F1 and NASCAR but they’re not all that interesting to watch. I’m in it for the mechanical aspects and seeing which designs and builds end up proving beneficial. The added constraint of some semblance of a production car is what makes it interesting to…
My brain immediately jumped to these guys. Drive all three, pick your favorite.
