Technically speaking the hydrogen powered car is an EV since the hydrogen fuel cell produces electricity that drives electric motors.

You're entering into a catch-22 situation with that idea. If the market demand isn't there, the investors won't put the money towards building the infrastructure. On the other side of it, if the market demand is there, they'll put the money towards it, but until the infrastructure is there the early adoption costs are

Youre comparing apples to oranges. Hydrogen-powered vehicles don't have the supporting infrastructure in place to make that possible. Think of it like the ways Teslas were viewed until their supercharger stations were set up cross country.

Hey, his had a shower...

So wait. You were following someone so closely that their brake check actually resulted in an accident and an injury, yet nobody, not even the police, bothered to think that MAYBE you were following too closely (which btw is a moving violation more or less everywhere)?

The Fairfield police report in their Facebook posting that four individuals including an 18-month-old kid are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The police also note that there was "an indication of intoxication and a high rate of speed."

Everyone loves the Audi R18 e-tron quattro LMP1 sound... but then hates the new F1 v6 turbo sound.

and not a single doubter could legitimately make the claim that he doesn't drive them... because he drives EVERY one of them (obviously not at the same time but the point stands)

Unfortunately no, albeit that would seem applicable here.

Doesn't change the fact that its rather disappointing.

"Special" implies its own running, loosely tied to but not a part of any given series. Using up two episodes of the season to do a special is just... a letdown. I truly feel they're starting to move away from the true automotive entertainment show into much more

I dont exactly think a DNF and a DSQ is exactly the best way to go about protecting ol Seb, while still remaining competitive in the Constructor's Championship.

Not that I think they'll have it happen every race, but if they honestly want to win, sacrificing one of their drivers "for the greater good" isn't going to

does it matter?

99% of the population calls them blimps. Trying to convince them otherwise is an effort in futility.

going around saying "LOOK AT THE NEW GOODYEAR ZEPPELIN" is only going to get you weird stares from everyone around you. Correct or not...

Thats a very interesting perspective on this, and one that might actually be closer to the truth than we realize.

Speaking of which... does this sound familiar to anyone else? (RB screwing Webber to protect Seb)

yup. He was pointed back towards oncoming traffic. Its not like he couldn't see there was a big group of cars coming. Mirror or not, you dont pull out in front of a group of cars like that after you just crashed expecting to NOT get in the way. Bonehead move through and through.

I seriously cannot stand Riccardo's smug smile....

well, its not my fault NASCAR is still using chassis tech from the 1970s... While their cars weigh as much as my Audi, WRC and F1 are racing cars that weigh half as much, if not less.

free food... for a flight with a company you'll likely never fly with again... yup, that definitely makes up for it.

i think you might want to call the boys over in the WEC and F1 about rain tires. They seem to have a pretty good handle on things.

want to know what else is an advancement? wet condition tires ;)

I wonder if they wont notice it even though the post-race show
