Own and use regularly are very different. I use 2 computers, laptop and desktop, on a regular basis. But counting all the working computers in my house we have 8. And that's not even factoring in iPod touches and smartphones.

Titanium Meida Sync?

Gizmodo has ads? AdBlock Plus FTW.

@Lensflare: Oh. Well it's pretty much the same thing. A useful tip though, thanks.

@Rawrockbander: If you know how to find a stud and are comfortable doing it yourself go for it, but make sure you have a friend help you. If not let Best Buy do it, they may cost a lot but they won't break your tv.

@Lensflare: Just click on it so that the volume bar appears. Then scroll the scroll wheel. Don't hold down the mouse button. You don't even have to hover your mouse over the volume bar.

@Lensflare: Actually it does work in Windows 7.

@derilium: I couldn't write a script if I tried, so I guarantee that's not what I'm doing. I installed yours and it only displayed the images of the tips, not the text. Maybe it's a problem with the Chrome Dev channel, I don't know, but that's what happened. And the one I linked worked perfectly for me.

@derilium: Unfortunately in Chrome that userscript will only show the pictures for the tips box. This script will default to one page view:

@niccrosslingo: "...brainstorm a few IF you're ready to make some changes..."

None of my friends are chronically late. But one chronically cancels, but doesn't tell me. Twice I've been stuck waiting for him when he has no intention of showing up, but didn't see fit to even text me. That sucks.

My New Year's resolution: 1280x1024

Doesn't work on a Samsung Intercept from Virgin Mobile.

@lalov1: LogMeIn is what I use, it's extremely simple to setup and works through any browser. A VNC program would be more complicated to set up, but less laggy.

@3 Laws of Robotics: VM is the best idea. If they don't have the resources adding Spybot S&D in addition to MSSE and setting up automatic scans would probably protect against the majority of threats.

@sdn: Used in conjunction with Google Voice this lets you do that. Just dial the number with Google Voice and have it ring your Google Talk number.

They don't want you to be able to record outbound calls, but his lets you do it. Just dial a number from Google Voice and having it ring your Google Talk phone. Gmail sees it as an inbound call and viola, outbound call recorded.

@nka: What do you mean by can't run portable apps? What stops you? Is the specific program being blacklisted? Or does the system not let you execute files from your flash drive?

@corsair130: Sorry for explaining away your argument of stairs being safe. My bad. Back yourself up with something better next time.

@dhl: This was the first thing I though of.
