Mmm, I think it honestly depends. When I was an exchange student in SK, there were plenty of guys in their 20s and older who were very big fans of the girl groups like Girls Generation, Kara and Wonder Girls. They may behave differently though. And Kpop netizens can be just as vicious as the Jpop ones. Currently T-Ara

They've been largely marketed as this sort of borderline Moe/Sexy act for a very long time. It's fine if you don't personally view them that way (from what I understand, they do have a straight female fanbase as well), but in terms of strict marketing. Ya. Pretty much a sexual thing.

I think in Japan and South Korea, on Valentine's Day, it's the women who give men chocolate and then vice versa on March 14th? I'm wondering if that changes anything?

Yeah, for sure. My mom and I still send each other little cards and chocolates on this day. ... Ngl, I also just buy myself Chocolates as well.

Could probably break your comp though.

I actually hanging around the Romance/Erotica section of Chapters (my friend and I were looking for a story with a love interest that might intrigue us) and while we hung out there for a few hours we actually noticed a number of men come by here, not by accident and not with a significant other. It was pretty cool

D= I forgot about that one. WHY BRING BACK THE MEMORIES

Does he have a car too? I wouldn't mind about paying for gas, I just don't want to take the bust home after paid date.

I'm actually pretty sure there's a shojo manga with this theme. XD

I always figured... if you want to be monogamous, be monogamous, if you don't, then don't. However, both parties (or more?) all have to be on the same page.

He kind of makes me think of the guardian of the forest in Princess Mononoke... this could be good or bad then.

Brunch %100!

I actually feel that (for the most part) the bigger the scandal, the more popular a celebrity will be in North America? When Charlie Sheen had his meltdown, there was no turning away from that train wreck. You just waited to see what next crazy thing he was going to do next.

I think it really depends in that case as well. Some of the fans can be just as cray when it comes to K-pop idols and management can be just as ridiculous. Kpop netizens can be just as terrible as J-pop/Otaku ones unfortunately.

When I did my student exchange to South Korea, I did a lot of travelling on my own. It was just easier for me (a lot of people had different schedules or interests) plus, locals were always very nice in pointing me in the right direction. The only time I ever felt worried was when I first landed to be honest. Incheon

Millions times to the public transit. I really hate it when people hit on me when I'm on public transit. Nowhere to run, so to speak. Commuting is a time where I just like to zone out and be in my own space. I'm usually tired and a bit cranky, so when someone pokes me awake or disrupts you from your book/music/gaming

I didn't think this game was going to be as big as it was (more like a cult classic?). The one time I didn't think to preorder... >.<

I'd say any meaty girl I've met who did either martial arts or rugby has been as tough as fuck. XD

Damn, that's so adorable. XD

Do games like Halo and Mass Effect count? Or are they too sci fi?
