Why can’t someone be in it for the money and still be pretty good? I totally get the problem we currently have with flakers and fakers who can’t code for sh!t but have good resumes and are very good at BS talking to get out of tough spots. But that’s a very different problem. I have interviewed people with CS degrees

I think this chart was developed by a non-programmer.

I recommended your post for the VS mention. VS is by far the best IDE around. It’s not even close.

I have a couple of degrees in computer science but I disagree with you. I think it depends on how you see yourself. If you just want a job and this is a means to an end, this isn’t a bad way to decide. As much as guys like you and me may not like it, some people are in this for the money.

These people are very stupid. I don’t say that lightly. Teams change names and somehow the record books handle it quite alright. This godawful team used to be called a different name. The Washington Wizards used to be Washington Bullets. OKC Thunder was Seatle SuperSonic. So teams change names frequently.

Oh stop with that bullshit. The punishment should be ruinous...so the lesson is learnt. As for their employees and suppliers, I am pretty sure they’ll survive. A single frigging cake shop doesn’t have that much pull in the economy.

Yes we really have to sue every bigot. Bigots are like that family member that’s rude to everybody and thinks s/he is superior. It won’t stop until someone calls them on their bullshit publicly. You can’t walk around bigots...it only feeds into bigotry.

I couldn’t agree more. There are so many ways a business like that could have refused to serve a single customer without veering into discrimination. But they probably wanted the attention...or perhaps wanted to stand up for Jesus. Because that’s what Jesus would have wanted...meanwhile there are real missionaries

First, it’s ironic that FIFA gets to put the hammer down on players for inappropriate comments.

The title of video is “Scherzer’s one hit shutout”...what’s a 1-hit shutout? Either it’s a shutout or it’s not.

Sepp Blatter is stepping down. Will John drink Bud Light on next week’s show?

“This mostly appears to be a case of Tony Kornheiser talking about a serious and prominent issue without being properly informed. So, not that much different from one of his regular shows.

How is it possible to have Neymar, Messi and Suarez on a team? The rest of the team aren’t slouches either. Even on FIFA 15, I feel slightly guilty playing with Barcelona!

I am starting to think you are not a real basketball writer or fan.

Toronto swept the Wizards because Bradley Beal didn’t play in some. Because Wittaman hadn’t decided to unleash the Paul Pierce as a stretch-4 strategy and Otto Porter was still finding his place in the league. And of course, John Wall wasn’t balling out of his mind. Those 4 guys along with Gortat contributed to why

The answer is right there in the second word of your post: the Wizards. That’s what happened to the Raptors. Yeah yeah I know Washington wasn’t always known for defense but they were #5 in defense this season and the playoffs is all about defense. And not pouting after every foul call like Lowry. Also, it’s about not

Someone investigate this dude for match fixing....no keeper takes that kind of awful position twice in a game.

I did read the post and it doesn’t make sense (to me). You say the refs are doing a lousy job to both teams but choose to focus on how Lowry’s been taken out of the game because he can’t adjust.

You do know refs are human, right? And lots of calls are very subjective. There are ways to work the referees and there are ways work the refs.
