This is very disappointing. To me, this makes Tony Dungy more despicable than Donald Sterling. Sterling at least hired minorities and was/is genuinely deluded. Tony Dungy on the other hand, sees the injustice, understands it (having gone though the same thing just to be an NFL head coach) but chooses to perpetuate it.

This is the kind of vetting that goes on in today's network tv. For shame.

After trying to watch the Nationals games for the first part of this season, I have come to the conclusion that baseball is a game best "watched" on radio. That way you can listen to it as background noise (hopefully catching the few moments of action) while you do other things.

A meaningless match? lol. Tell that to the Brazilians in the crowd that booed the team at the end. This was their last chance to get a medal in the competition they just spent $11B hosting and they couldn't even perform. The fact that they didn't show up is proof that they have no heart. So if you are looking for what

And when Thiago Silva came back against Netherlands what was the score? Oh yeah a 3-0 drubbing in front of a home crowd that booed them off the field. BTW, you say "center-back who coordinates their entire back line" as if David Luiz is just some scrub not fit to play in MLS; he's a 50 million pound center back

Brazil has always been 2 goals down from giving up. They went 1-0 down to Croatia and almost crumbled. This kind of article is missing the trees for the forest. In the hope of finding some clever reasons the Brazilians decided to embarrass their country, the writer missed the obvious clue: they have/had no soul.

That's just nonsense. So they were playing without 2 players and they whole thing fell apart? What's your excuse for their 3-0 loss to Netherlands in the bronze match?

Bullsh1t. That was a total collapse by a soul less Brazilian team. They've been sub-par all tournament long but managed to get through because they didn't face a team as clinical as the Germans. Against, Germany the bough finally broke and the goals poured in...in embarrassing fashion. And then Netherlands followed

As is David Stern never rigged anything in his league. Yes it was close and FIFA probably gave it to Messi because how many fans know who the f**k James "Don't call me James" Rodriguez is? Sure Robben deserves it but everybody know 3rd place winners are really just losers. If you are that good, carry your team to the

Keepers never win and that's why they created the golden glove. I mean that's a dedicated award that no outfield player can win. So I guess it evens out.

For such a rich man, Dan Snyder is incredibly stupid. I guess maybe it's because he's a fan and can't see beyond his fandom to make practical choices. The name thing is gonna go unless you want it to be a distraction for the next season and beyond. Do you think MNF is going to not cover the story every time the team

Is that why the team temporarily lost their trademark in the last 90s? Dude, it's just more popular today because everything is...blame it on social media.

This is not a "better" way to watch soccer. Maybe a "different" way but to say it's better is debatable. Take the yellow/blue image used to display possession. Great what if the countries playing are Brazil vs Sweden? Their icon runs into the same problem with the current ESPN icon i.e. both teams use a mix of yellow

F.U.C.K. Y.O.U, dumb American.

Dan Snyder is a f**king moron. Someone once said if a mob is running you out of town, you might as well get in front of them and pretend it's a parade. This was eventually going to happen. If not now it'll definitely be before Snyder dies (he's a young man). So why not be the force for change even if deep down you

My point, again, is that college athletics is a sham. And the more elite the college is in sports, the more of a sham their concept of "student athletes" is. BTW, lol @ you quoting graduation percentage on an article where a prominent ex-student has come out to say the entire concept of going to class was a sham at

lol @ meeting in the final.

I am not. His role on the national team isn't to be a defensive midfielder. That's Onazi's job. Mikel's role is to be a playmaker and have the offense run through him.

oh shut it. Just because your coach at Chelsea messed up Obi's creativity doesn't mean he can't be fixed. Yeah I, along with 100 million Nigerians, will be forever pissed at your golden coach for screwing up Mikel. It's like having a coach play MJ at center or having Tom Brady return punts.

I was watching from home and my blood was boiling the entire match. However, after I calmed down I realized that Nigeria didn't play our full squad. Yobo played in defense instead of Omeruo. Not saying he would have done better but Yobo's lost a step.
