Well if you were born in the ‘80s you probably weren’t wearing much makeup in the ‘80s. Mid to late ‘90s, the bare faced look was a big trend. Other ‘90s makeup trends included neutral tones. And if you liked make up, there was all the sparkly eyeshadow or deep tone lipstick to play with.
There are a few gals at my office like this and objectively, they look so much more put together than I do and I’m super impressed with their dedication. I cannot do that, I love my bed too much.
I matched my eyeshadow to my shirts for at least half of the 80's. My favorite color was bright blue.
Not more understated. But I think there were fewer layers of products to put on back then. I’ve seen a few recent tutorials and good Goddess, it’s ridiculous how many products they use these days. (I am not a makeup wearer, but I think all we had back then was concealer, foundation, blush, eye shadow, lipstick. Hair…
Having been married to a narcissist, I can’t help but feel bad for her. He was probably incredible to her at the beginning, she probably fell madly in love with that false persona, and he probably had her sign papers that will financially destroy her if she leaves.
Buying the men’s version is the practical solution, yes. But it’s the principle of the thing.
I agree that the price difference is prejudiced (and stupid besides) but this type of thing can be avoided by just, you know, buying the men’s version. I buy men’s deodorant/ razors, and I’ve yet to have my uterus fall out. The tax on tampons and pads pisses me off a lot more, because there is no reasonable way of…
Go to Luckyscent.com. They tell you the top, middle and base note of each fragrance and give you a detailed description. Each of their fragrances is a little unique and culled from around the world. You can get a sample for a few dollars and try them out. I see now that someone else has already suggested this. Anyway,…
Re: fragrances, try determining the types of fragrances you like based on what has worked for you reasonably well in the past (floral, gourmand, woody/oriental, etc.). Try sampling the hell out of fragrances that fit those buckets. You will probably still hate a lot of them, but keep going until you find one that…
Couldn’t she just have sung the song? I mean, she must know the lyrics by now. And she clearly heard it well enough because the dancers were ON POINT. You know, stick your finger over one ear to hear yourself and sing it old school, Mariah! I see people doing it in church every 3rd Sunday... and have done it myself…
Wait. Her net worth 150 million and his is 4 million?
Why are we taking a crap on them?
Seriously. I made a donation to St. Jude’s a few weeks ago. It took all of 5minuets on their website. There was no need for a douche-bag middle-man who is auctioning off a date with his damn sister(!) in a bald-faced effort to lessen his tax load, inflate his ego, and peddle access to his corrupt dad.
“Today, the only people that lost are the children of St. Jude,” he wrote.
Exactly. It was a benefit for The Eric Trump Foundation, ostensibly to raise money for St. Jude’s.
Her mother became a Scientologist when she was nine. However, she was fairly lucky on the family front - her sister had already left the cult, and her mother and her husband agreed to follow her when she decided to leave. I think the combination of that support and the fact that her celebrity protects her is why she’s…
Her mom became a scientologist when she was around puberty age, if I remember her book correctly.
Although I’m too lazy to check, I believe Remini’s parents were Scientologists.
