In fact, that's how dictionaries work. If enough people mispronounce a word for long enough, then the people making the dictionaries update it with a new pronunciation. Same goes for spelling. Same goes for misunderstanding the meaning of the word and using it incorrectly.

Absolutely. Those were my "young man" years and I loved playing this, Alien Vs Predator and the Macross top-down scrolling shoot-em-up in the arcades here in Australia. And then they just went away as consoles took over. This will be my first chance to play the old D&D games again in about 18 years.

You're reading it wrong. The "contributors and partners" (contributors includes fans) made 8.5 million. Valve made 1.5 million. If you're only talking about the Robotic Boogaloo update, Valve only got something near $37,500 for the whole thing. The fans made over $210k.
