I only pre-ordered two days ago, so I guess I should. but I don't really care about that.

They usually only are offered when you pre-order a game. Most are $10, sometimes $20. Most of the big releases have them. The next time you buy or pre-order a game the credit is automatically applied. And the credit can only be used towards another game, and expires in year or so.

Dark Souls for $30 thanks to pre-order credits. I <3 Amazon. I should probably just set direct deposit to go straight to them.
