Finally a Director’s Cut from a Warner Bros. franchise the public really deserves.

It’s nice to see that about half the writers are women, but yeah, that’s a lot of white faces. It’s not a bad bunch, though.

Didn’t help that it made the movie look TV-ish, because we’re used to 24fps in cinema. But let’s be honest, a lot more than framerate made the Hobbit look bad.

He’s rebelling against the rebel? How uninspiring.

During that HBO panel at the Television Critics Association, Damon Lindelof claimed he’s channeling Alan Moore’s “punk rock, rebellious spirit” by adapting Watchmen into a television series for HBO against the author’s wishes.

Jeff Goldblum may have teased his return as the Grandmaster on Twitter.

There’s a purple joycon coming out later this year.  But its packaged with an orange one too.

I don’t have a sleeve. I have a glass screen protector, and that’s never been scratched while docking.

something about the models of 64 and the smooth animations of melee make this super appealing to me. now i want to see both ps1 style graphics and 64 era graphics modded into modern games/fighters. i legit LOVED the ps1 skins on ground zeros

Man this makes me wish Nintendo had costume DLC for smash. I’d love OG N64 skins with the original sound effects, even if it was only for the original 12.

How about 20 million folks give Todd McFarlane a dollar each to NOT make Spawn? (And I don’t need my buck back, thanks very much.)

Oh, I’m pretty sure the name was intentional (and someone has played X):

Lighten up, Frances.

I assume it’s going to dip into the Lovecraftian end of the Marvel magic spectrum -- i.e., Shuma-Gorath and maybe even Sise-Neg from the ‘70s Englehart run.

heh Del Toro can add it to his other 20 movies he wants to direct at any given moment.

(Sorry, I’m going to fanboy the fuck out here for a minute.)

I guess you two can’t play anymore, but that’s a really sad thing to plan for. Man. Great, now I am thinking about my kids.

Seriously though, great question! Paul managed to keep up with me as we played, so he never died. Will let you know as soon as I can get an online session going and someone dies.

So many questions... but I’m going to stick to just one... is this set in some weird, post-apocalyptic world where all the humans have disappeared?

You left out the most important part - what is Yzma’s objectives?  And does Kronk come in as a minion or hero?

Pretty sure part of the cause of global warming is this windbag pontificating on what his Star Trek would be like.
