I didn’t *passionately* dislike it, but that’s really just because I’m too exhausted by this franchise to give it any real pronounced emotion anymore. Even a year later, I hardly remember any of the “real” plot of the movie, except for the part where Grindelwald VAPES WORLD WAR 2 OUT OF A SKULL???

Do we know for certain yet whether D+ will have ads? I can't seem to find a concrete answer.

I think I still have the one my dad made somewhere. Did everyone's parents who played video games make one of these back in the day?

I realized it was Carrie's voice saying "Always" at the end and I basically started bawling. It's her birthday today!

I mean, it's not? There's going to be a whole Donkey Kong Country section, and a Yoshi ride (I know that Yoshi started out explicitly as a Mario character, but they're now their own franchise).

I mean, I get where you're coming from. I really do. But did you really think they were going to end the very last Skywalker-focused Star Wars film without redeeming the only living Skywalker?

I mean, to simplify things to a borderline problematic degree, isn't that basically what all of the Crystal Gems are?

Depending on how much you know about the series now, I would encourage you to start from the beginning. I'm sure the movie will be pretty beginner-friendly, like Charles said, but the show itself is truly fantastic, and really does benefit from a continuous watch. Either way, you're in for a treat!

I'd kill for more Tartakovsky Star Wars, but unfortunately (specifically for the prospect of him working with SW and for no other reason!) he's got a new show starting on Adult Swim pretty soon I think.

I agree with you that the new Sonic looks atrocious. I do wonder if they're setting themselves up to fail by changing it, though. If they spend all this time and money revising their design, and then the public *still* hates it? That's a special kind of hell they've created then. And all this revision does nothing to

I'm inclined to agree with you that we're not going to see anything about Banjo just yet. I wouldn't necessarily discount Nintendo's ability to "oh one more thing" all over the place, though. They could, in theory, pull out another Piranha Plant-style extra DLC character that exists outside the Fighter's Pass. I won't

Yeah That 70s Show had song titles on every episode I'm pretty sure. Last season was all Queen songs.

Yeah, I don't think a regular frame-rate would have made the Hobbit movies good...

That's nothing: I hear Kevin Smith's going to have a cameo too!

I mean you have to consider that spec-wise, this is identical to the regular Switch. It's not a technical downgrade; it's the same system made more compact, just without the docking capability. So a $100 drop in price seems perfectly fair to me.

Yeah, it's especially disappointing as this is the games' first entry on a home console, meaning the cartridge/file size for these games is bound to be a MASSIVE step up from the previous titles. To be asked to accept that, suddenly, the games' development could not facilitate animating all of the Pokémon this time

So are we going to see the Joker’s weiner in this one?

“Feelings" is a weird way to spell Linda Hamilton's name.

Honestly, I understand where the people saying that this has been Dany’s trajectory since S1 are coming from, but if it really has been, they’ve done a very poor job of expressing it. Yes, we’ve known for basically the entire run of the series that she’s had these prophecies laid out for her that very well could end

There are a lot of assumptions being made here. Yes, it means that a lot of those heroes don’t come together in the same way, but with the knowledge of certain parts of the prime MCU timeline, Steve could still try to make sure the important things happen. He could save Bucky early, that would almost certainly do
