I don't think Sonic Rush would be that awkward. Assuming they'd show the top screen on the TV and the bottom on the GamePad, he'd just go from one to the other.
The biggest takeaway for me from this update is the revelation that I can turn on the console by pressing the Home button on the GamePad. And here I've been fumbling to find the tiny little Power button on the GamePad all this time!
