By "pretty good soundtrack," do you mean the normal music that's in the 3D Sonic games? Because I wouldn't necessarily call that music "good," but it's definitely necessary to a Sonic game.

The Bank was supposed to have released two days after Christmas but a general outage affecting all of Nintendo's online services put that on hold indefinitely. Pokémon Transporter, allowing players to move their pokémon collection from Pokemon Black and White and Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 was set to join it in…
Ugh, that's one of my pet peeves too.
Yeah, just like those. In the same way that Super Mario 64 was just like Super Mario Bros.
I just finished playing through Brawl to unlock all the characters on my Wii U, and I love it. I'm definitely very excited for the next one.
Speak for yourself. As a Nintendo fan, there's plenty to be excited about. There's Mario 3D World, which might have been one of the best games of last year. There's also Mario Kart and Smash Bros. coming out this year, not to mention any of the things that Iwata teased in the briefing last week. Wii U's in a bad place…
That looks like gross fast-food-quality bread, but yeah, I think we're looking at a Big Mac setup: bun, meat, bun, meat, bun.
Bread?
Actually, if you bought a Virtual Console game that's $5, it would only be $1 to upgrade it to the Wii U, but if you're buying a game on the Wii's Virtual Console then upgrading it to Wii U, you're not doing it right, and you're kind of intentionally skewing the facts to make the Wii U seem like less of a deal.
Can someone please address Iwata's comment about looking into an "on demand" model? Hardly any news outlets are mentioning this, which leads me to believe he himself only spoke about it offhand, but even that sounds potentially hugely game-changing to me.
It seemed like some weird crossbreed between Super Bombad Racing and one of the LEGO Star Wars games, which seems like it would actually be really neat. I never played Super Bombad, but just based on the horrifying box art, I never really wanted to go near it, and I never heard anything that made me regret that…
It's a really good trailer, but it's also super misleading. This game is supposed to be a top-down shooter? It looks to me like it's advertising some kind of hybrid between a LEGO Star Wars game and Super Bombad Racing, which by some strange turn of events actually seems like it would be good.
I wouldn't be surprised if Pokemon Bank (finally) releases in NA with tomorrow's Nintendo Download. I believe it's back up in Japan.
WOAH. That came out of nowhere!
Can we please get some information about this "on demand" service that Iwata seems to have mentioned? I'm seeing some news outlets mentioning it, but with the amount of details everyone seems to have, it would appear Iwata simply mentioned the words "on demand" while coughing into his hands, then went on to talk about…
Thank you. I was just about to post that.
I'm lucky to have had an awesome dad who introduced me to video games. We were subscribers for pretty much the entire run of the magazine, give or take a few issues here and there.
I've still got the very first issue of Nintendo Power laying around somewhere. If I ever find it, I think maybe I'll get it framed, along with the final issue.
