  1. No? That really isn't what they're saying. They're just saying it come out in Japan first, like most video games do.

Well, SMB3 just finally came out in Europe this week, so it's only slightly annoying that we didn't get it in NA too. LttP came out in Europe the week before the new Zelda game came out, and we still don't have it in NA, and for THAT, I am annoyed.

Gotta say, this makes me less mad that we still haven't gotten Link to the Past or Super Mario Bros. 3 on Virtual Console in North America. As much as I really wish they'd release them, I think I'd be more frustrated right now if they were there and I just couldn't get on to buy them. Maybe next week~

Yeah, I think that's a picture of the original design of the Gamepad. Mine (purchased day one) doesn't look like this either.

What game is that? It looks really neat.

See, I tend to agree that proper nouns should never get the s' treatment (though modern grammar classes teach that this is acceptable), but your second example given (something belonging to multiple Joneses) is actually incorrect. If something is plural, proper noun or not, it shouldn't have an additional "s" for

Actually, when the name in question is only one syllable, I think it's still not technically correct to simply put an apostrophe at the end (like James' in your example). When the name becomes two syllables, then it's technically acceptable to possessify(?) it with just an apostrophe ("Jonas'" or "Jesus'" rather than

Jingle All the Way is probably my favorite Christmas movie. It's also my favorite reminder of when I should put that cookie down.

Yeah, my first thought was that they were announcing Kirby in the new Mario Kart, and then when it turned out to be Rosalina in Smash Bros., I was kind of weirdly disappointed. Like, don't get me wrong, Rosalina's one of my favorite characters, and I'm super-excited to have her in Smash, but now that they teased us

It'll be worth the wait. It was a fantastic movie.

Guess we know which one you are. ;P

You do realize that ALL of Kotaku's reviews are written as "Should you you play this game? YES or NO," don't you? Like, you're not psychically compelled to buy or not buy something just because they said so. That's your choice, but don't get mad at them now for doing what they've literally done for years now.

Huh. I almost always wake up before my alarm (usually within two or three minutes). I always thought my body was just weird and dumb. I never would have guessed not only that there was science behind it, but that it's a good thing! Neato!

Maybe you should stop putting your dog's breakfast on your bed.

Good fun! I'll be commemorating the occasion by staring hungrily at all the upcoming Nintendo releases that I won't be able to get because they're all coming out during that unfortunate period of time before the holidays where you're not allowed to buy anything for yourself. u.u

Was it that good? I only ever played the N64 Mario Tennis (which, of course, I loved). Is the GBC version worth getting if it ever pops up on Virtual Console?

Probably not? Why would it?

Yeah, I guess we are. I suppose that's because, you know, it is one.

Implying that the Wii U isn't a next-gen console.

Technically speaking, if she's female she's a gynoid.
