@hurricanedj: Not to mention Heavy Rain gets stale real quick with the lack of true alternate scenarios. I got the Platinum for it and no game felt more repetitious than Heavy Rain, the story was good but the replay value was DEFINITELY overstated (and as someone pointed out earlier once you're on the second

@ivan256: Oh ok, I was thinking you meant they charged you the price of their DVR, that's the only box Suddenlink gives out and it's $20 something a month. I was thinking it was pretty crazy to charge that much for the cableCARD.

@ivan256: Yea over on the TiVo Community boards a lot of people with the older models have expressed the same thing. This was our first TiVo so for us going from Suddenlink's Motorola DVR to the Premiere we had way more new features.

I blame Apple, they refuse to so support Blu-Ray and most videos I get are in that format. Countless times I end up sending a movie back unwatched because I don't have time to sit in my livingroom watching it (I'm a huge multitasker).

Such proper language he has.

@Avastmateys: If I learned anything from years of watching X-Files, it's that this is the perfect scenario for an alien encounter. Blame the ETs for no GPS signal.

@Les Mikesell: I see why people get annoyed with Facebook users, the ones who spew nonsense ruin it for the ones who know what they're talking about.

@Dancing Milkcarton: It's funny, because isn't DirecTV switching to TiVo DVRs? I know they at least planned on selling them directly, which to me means they believe the TiVo's hardware/software is better than their own. Same with Suddenlink.

@ivan256: What cable company do you use? From what I've read most places charge between $2-$5 for the card. With a $20 monthly fee and a few extra dollars a month for the CableCARD it's not that big of a difference.

After knowing all the other stuff they do (such as using young children to lure in soldiers... then BOOM) this doesn't sound that bad.

Doesn't affect me too much. If anything this affects them because I'm not renting their movies, nor am I buying them. If I really want to see a new movie that bad I will download it or if another friend has it I'll borrow it.

@JonThomasDesigns: I've watched plenty of HD content through the Netflix app on the PS3 on our 46" and have absolutely nothing to complain about. Streaming is absolutely fine.

Well that was a waste of time.

I'd only buy a 3DTV if I had a salary of $1,000,000+ where I could just blow money on expensive things without worrying about whether or not I'd use them.

@Interstella5555: For me I like different controllers for different genres. Shooting and driving games I like the 360 controller a lot more, but with sports I have to use a PS3 controller, for those the 360 controller feels clunky.

Got an email from them earlier telling me it's available. Finally don't have to use the disc AND we get 5.1.
