The TWoK music was so, so well-used here. This show gets it in a way that no other current Trek show does, even Strange New Worlds, a show that I absolutely love.

And they even did the TOS movie rainbow warp effect with the captain’s yacht!

And the soundtrack.

No props here for the ST2 nebula battle homage? They even did the expanding rings after detonation...

I f’ing love this show.

I loved Rutherford and Boimler debating if Nick Locarno looks like Tom Paris.

I just hope they don’t undercut Sito Jaxa’s death in Lower Decks by revealing Locarno managed to save her

It has a lot of uses. I’m planning on buying one on the work account as a security multitool: Penetration testing, NFC-based asset tagging, creating and reading security badges, regaining control of systems that have been locked down by malicious actors, and more. All of that can apply in a tech-savvy home environment.

Now do guns

Elon’s biggest problem is obsessing with flash over ubiquitous function. His second biggest problem is running his companies by royal decree. The Cybertruck is an objectively bad vanity project that heavily steals from my 8th grade design I made in a notebook (minus rooftop machine gun or tank cannon options) with

Small rims + big tires. I’m tired of cracking wheels on potholes.

Velour

Jason X is awful, but it does have one great scene - Jason is lured onto the ship’s “holodeck” where they recreate the original Camp Crystal Lake - right out of the 1980s. Jason is noticeably freaked out, especially when young teenagers appear for him to kill, but he can’t kill them because they’re holograms.

The mothers are the force users in this Thrawn’s plan instead of C’Baoth.

Fuck off, the guy beat his girlfriend. If Hollywood would fall because we fumigated it of all of the scumbags who hide behind the glitz and glamour to inflict pain and suffering on others: Let it fall.

Its rebels in live action people. Don’t over think it. It was never going to live up to timothy zahns version of thrawn. Losing ray stevenson hurts badly as his arc seemed to be something special. All in all it was leagues better than kenobi and a good mix of old school and new school imo.

The fact that Star Trek has done it twice for the original crew and succeeded (moreso with SNW but that’s because Jar Jar Abrams didn’t bother to research the lore) should be a message to producers

I thought this series was pretty good. If you made me grade it, most of the episodes were B to B+ with maybe one or two As thrown in. But that finale pulls everything down a bit. No way around it. It felt like an episode you’d get in the middle of the season, not a proper season finale. Season finales are suppose to

That depends; is the fight Enoch vs Boba from his first appearance in Mandolorian, where he was a badass and took out a whole squad of Stormtroopers hand to hand?
