Grassroots progressivism defeating the snot that’s clogged up in the Democratic Party’s nose. I love the smell of fresh-minded progressives in the morning. :)

You want a blue wave? This is how you get a blue wave. The Democrats got their asses handed to them in the generals when Trump got elected. You had the scion of a powerful political dynasty against someone that SHOULD have, by all rights, been entirely unelectable, running with the active opposition from some of his

Great news and great result. Need more of this kind of candidate especially in the very blue districts

This is what can happen when you do more than whine about the Democrats and actually try to change things. The party is open to all, anyone can run if they have the courage and grit to try. This is great for her, but it’s even better for the party and the country.

Hell yes, she did it; I’m so happy for NY right now.

Don’t let the inevitable Debbie Downers and Energy Leeches steal your joy; this is evidence that shit isn’t hopeless.

Do NOT go gentle into that goodnight, but rage, RAGE...”

Seriously. If elections go this way with super progressive candidates, I may be persuaded to amend my theory that the only way to save the economy and society in general is to pile all of the baby boomers into barrels and send them over Niagara Falls. I’ll do it, but I won’t be happy about it.

This proud centrist is looking forward to Ms. Ocasio-Cortez winning in November. Seeing that this is a strong (D) district it should be an easy peasy win to earn. I’ve come to realize ever so slowly that having people like her on the team is going to get us out of the rut this country is in sooner than waffling

So we can get a Manchin or a Feinstein that has the ‘D’ in the title, but vote along Trump policy lines the majority of the time?

Go fuck yourself.

This is fantastic news

Excellent, another Corporate Dem falls.

I welcome with open arms any citizen who realizes how toxic the Republican party has been and decides to stop voting for them, whether it happens when they’re 19 or 89. But I think there’s a long stretch between people like you, and former Bush officials, especially former Bush lawyers, and especially former Bush

It’s going to be total BS isn’t it?

Elizabeth Mitchell has been hitting home run after home run with her take on Anna. Such a wonderful piece of casting.

I appreciated that Naomi was quick to use zero G to her advantage.

The last two episodes are in a double bill next week.

“My ship... “

As a non-book reader, I wasn’t sure what to make out of Ashford, but they’ve definitely given him nuance. I hope he doesn’t turn into a bastard, plus I really love David Strathaim’s portrayal.

“ (...) you’ve changed your hair”

Jesus. A little on the short side, but the Peaches/Naomi fight fuckin’ delivered. That was incredibly well executed (as with everything else on this show). I love seeing how they’ve disseminated Bull’s role so effectively, too - so many good adaptation decisions.
