Say what you will about Discovery, that was one of the best battle scenes in Star Trek history.

I’m sorry but how can you argue with what seems to be the perfect solution to the horrible idea of setting this series as a prequel? This fits perfectly: Discovery, with all of its futuristic technology and appeal is finally where all the fans wanted it to be: in the future, centuries ahead of TNG, DS9 and VOY.

I’m actually quite pleased the show’s producers, through some wicked contortions, managed to make a course correction and launch this series to where it belonged in the first place: in the future.

Meh.  He might not have been the most interesting but to me he was the most adorable.  Margo is, hands down, my favorite character on this show.

Yeah, before the Kinjapocalypse, I really liked the vast majority of the shows this site reviewed.  Now?  Not so much.

I wish it were Alice who was sacrificed and not Q.   That sucks.

We saw Brienne at Winterfell.  Christie’s character just didn’t have any lines this episode.

Eventually you’ll realize that Tilly is the best character on the show and on television.

In my area, specifically, it’s the Canadian Geese who are the biggest menace, shitting everywhere, polluting local lakes and streams and god help you if you have to pass one of their nests. I was jogging near a stream where they were nesting. I’ve found the best way to get them to settle down is (oddly) by clapping…

I suppose the problem could be mitigated by more of us composting our food waste (or Bokashi if it’s dairy, meat, cooked food, etc.) but either people are going to be responsible with their food waste or they’re not.

I thought she did a great job with The Doctor and Doctor Zimmerman.

I think all that has to happen is for someone to star your post or reply to it.  I have the same problem with every single post I’ve written on this site’s The Takeout.  Make of that what you will.  My posts go right through on all of these other sites but not that one so I just stopped posting there.  :P

They could take notes from DS9, where Bashir started off as most annoying member of cast and then steadily improved for seven seasons.

Clearly, they’ve also never sown seeds since most people put more than one seed into a hole, they will eventually have to thin out the seedlings once they sprout, thereby ending a seedling’s life.
