I don’t think DMVs license individual salespeople - at least not in all states. I sold Hondas in NJ for a about a year in the late 00s. I don’t recall ever licensed by the state. The dealership is licensed but the salespeople are just lackeys in most cases.

The Dodge LX twins sell like crack on a Baltimore street corner because they are “cool.” The young driver seems to enjoy the aggressive look of the LX twins — and being a good drivers car is not a requirement for a lot of these younger “sports car” buyers.
