For what it’s worth, I’ve been downright evangelical about Night in the Woods for a while now. The creators have released two free (technically pay what you want) games on their website, Lost Constellation and Longest Night, which set the tone nicely.

Some of the more mature, nuanced quests you find. The ones that expect you to let Ciri be her own person, the ones that take traditional villains like Olgierd von Everec and make him into somewhat of an enigma.

Really interested if you’re going to do a long take on some of the headier quests Witcher 3 throws at you. The world needs more Witcher 3 takes.

Seems like even great adventure games still get little press outside theit usual fan circles. Ever try Still Life 1/2 or Post Mortem or Grey Matter? And the two sequels to longest journey, Dreamfall and Dreamfall Chapters are pretty great and respectful of the first game.

Well shit, now that’s a thing I want...

No no no. Very different. The game Black Mirror has you as the heir to a vast family estate in England and you’re exploring their sordid past and trying to find a killer. Not related to the BBC series of the same name

Not dogging on Syberia but the Gothic melodrama atmosphere in Black Mirror was more what I wanted out of an adventure game at the time. Both really great, depending on your mood.

But if by microphone you mean “a platform to advocate what he calls ‘peaceful ethnic cleansing’ and a growing number of followers who actually sieg heil at his talks” then yes.

I’m just expressing concern that some people might find the lack of mutual dialog with nazis in that game to be personally harrowing.

Then dear God do not pick up Wolfenstein then!

Whooooa.

Hey don’t throw away Yakuza 3. It’s still good. Especially if you want a virtual Okinawa.

If you’d have told me five years ago I’d be using Minecraft to benchmark my system I’d have spat.

Just curious what the horror movies you can’t watch are?

Don’t quote me on this but an unnamed source tells me that people can gain and lose weight with relative ease.

Well yeah Blood and Wine was basically the extended vacation Geralt deserves and even your waifu shows up at the end. Hearts of Stone felt like a tight book you could devour in an evening.

What sets Witcher 3 apart is that the characters feel real. They don’t exist just to move the plot forward. Most of them couldn’t care less about you.

Both DLCs are amazing. And while Blood and Wine has a beautiful and vast new area, I’ll wager that Hearts of Stone had the better story. It’s dark and brutal but peppered with little sweet spots.

I’m one of those people. i7 and a 1070 and I have to drop it down to mostly medium/high settings to get 60

Well I’m with you that if they had a new Metroid announced I’d be 100% on board. For now I like that there’s a new Fire Emblem, Shin Megami Tensei, and Xenoblade on the horizon.
