What was “leaking” exactly? For once, Valve did the RIGHT choice: they realized that you do not need to govern and patronize sane, adult people, trusting that they can choose for themselves.

Because for the first time in their life, adults need and can choose for themselves? Because it’s never been possible to just IGNORE that stuff you don’t personally like ?

Yes, yes, and yes. It is not THEIR responsibility. It is YOUR responsibility, your duty and requirement to choose what’s OK for YOU.

If you let “your kids” do and play what ever they want, without observation and guidance (you know, that PARENTING thing?), then you better never reproduce. It is NOT the job of the government, the game publishers, the schools, or anyone else for that matter, to govern and bring up YOUR child. It is entirely your own…

Agreed 100%! I’m utterly shocked that some people would rather *literally* censor and block content on the net, instead of just ignoring the stuff they find unpleasant. People getting upset about completely optional video games consisting of anime titties or Nazi flags need to grow up.
