RotT did not use BUILD engine, no matter that some roots of BUILD may be found in it. BUILD was at its peak around 1995, pre-97, when DooM and iD tech started to show its age, but polygonal stuff (ie Quake) was not yet available.

That’s just your own personal definition for it, and IMO very shallow one. But breaking down those parts, in BUILD engine games, you could “fake” floors over floors with flat 2D overlays (creating bridges and stuff) and smart use of “portals”. You could also move and look 360 degrees, on X Y Z axis.

Only reason I’m getting this game (again) on Steam is the by-default included Japanese audio track, which was a pre-order / Day 1 Edition -only feature on PS4, with no way to get it later on.

Just announce the PC port already!
