@bmart008: Shattered Memories is not a remake. It's a "re-imagining", as in it uses some familiar faces and names, but is a totally new game in all the other aspects.

@pitseleh0: The first game is still one of the best in the whole series, and is now available at PSN Store. The second game is the biggest "cult-hit" game of the series, and has a very strong story and characters. It's a really worthy piece for everyone's collection.

As a fan of the games, I can't express with words how afraid I am of this movie. No, not in the "can't watch it because it's scary", but I'm afraid it will be even worse screw-up than the first movie, especially now that some people behind (terrible) Resi-movies have their hands on it.
