I thought of this when I first saw the choice.

I hate Steam so much for this reason. WHY DID THEY HAVE TO MAKE IT SO EASY TO SPEND ALL MY MONEY?!

Voted on this one as well, as it looks more like a video game cover than a book cover. Nothing wrong with the other one though, glad to have it over any of the others.

When they say Xbox do they actually mean an Xbox/360? Or are they just using it as a general term for their gaming console?

"Half-Life 3"

I'm just finishing up Farscape on Netflix, but it's being removed January 1. A bit cheesy at times, and had its slow episodes, but I've definitely been pleasantly surprised by the series. Glad I took the time to watch it.

So basically, video games/all media are teaching our kids it's okay to kill and be violent?

I've refused to support this dev from the beginning. All they've done is rode on the coattails of DayZ, and attempted to cash in while they can. SELLING a game that you deem is actually still in Alpha? No way will I help you make a profit on a product that shouldn't even be released to the public yet.

Currents could have easily carried them into deeper waters. They'll probably never be found.

My personal music of the year would be To The Moon.

They could have at least given you some half decent music to enjoy, or possibly even some cutscenes? Anything but 20 minutes of scrolling text...

AOL. Brilliant.

They did Diablo, and then left out Deckard Cain...

Austin, TX. I'm looking at you for at least half of these. ESPECIALLY #6. This may be the only city I've been in where the passing lane is consistently the slowest lane.

Whoa whoa whoa, watch the judgement there. I never said anything bad about her cause, and I support equality for everyone. The people who harass her are extremist and incredibly ignorant, and there are some on the other side as well. I don't particularly like people throwing accusations about my morality based on one

Particularly within the past year. You get more page views when you put controversial bullshit on your site, even if they have barely anything to do with your topic. It's like all the science posts and posts about star wars/cars/everything else on gawker. It's cool and all, but if I wanted to read about it I'd go to

Don't know about the rest of you, but I play games to have fun. I don't really care about morality surrounding it, aside from treatment of their workers/consumers, because I have my own mind and understand THAT IT'S JUST A FUCKING GAME.

No no no, on so many levels, no it is not even close to being the same. Your body doesn't depend on video games to function "normally" like a drug addict/alcoholic's body does. Getting over the mental withdrawals is one thing, some might say the hardest part, but if you've ever seen or experienced physical withdrawals

I attended the Austin one back in August and still feel like it was worth every penny I spent. I was horribly underdressed compared to everyone else it seemed, but it was still awesome. Without a doubt, the best piece had to be Lttp. Even considering buying tickets to the San Antonio one to see it again.

I was looking forward to this movie ever since they first announced it. I've been more and more disappointed every time they give us details, and now this...sounds like there will be 0 atmosphere and just a bunch of action shots with some OMG TWISTSZZZTZZZ moments.
