I'm in the exact same boat. Though I haven't played seriously since the f2p, here and there and what not, this game holds a special place to me. As stupid as it sounds, it got me through some tougher times and it's a game I could always come back to. Here's to a great game and a great team behind it.

I can't believe the one shark that they'd set up for you to kill as some sort of world boss is a whale shark. If anything I would expect them to have made it some giant friendly npc roaming the area, maybe has a quest or something. Agreed. Seems like most comments are blasting him one way or the other. Sure he loves the sport, he wants to defend it the best he can, but he can't lose money and keep the sport alive. You really can't blame him for taking this deal.
