The company is not very smart. Just throw a USB plug on there and give them a separate Lightning USB cord with it. Problem solved. No refunds necessary.

Die Hard

Elon Musk will be sending humans to Mars within ~15 years or so.

I used Google Maps for GPS the other day. After the first turn I switched back to Apple. Can't beat the lockscreen map.

Not so bad if you pay tree service workers with a cherry lift to do it over 3 weeks and then leave them up all year. (There is an article about it further up in the comments)

No problem. If you don't type a place, like when using GPS position, you can long press the map and it will give you the bottom menu to slide up.

I'm pretty sure if that happened to Manhatten at least 100,000 people would capture it on their camera/phone so that part of the analogy is not so great.

Way to leave out the best feature of street view. (accelerometer control)

I guess you ignored the large and obvious warning 'Voice navigation is in beta. Use at your own risk.'.

Try the accelerometer controlled street view - definitely not HTML5 - it runs so smooth it feels like the camera app is open, looking around the streets.

Type in a place like 'Toronto' and then slide up from the bottom where it says 'Toronto, ON' and then has a little car with a distance icon, then click street view. Then click the little circly arrows to use the accelerometer.

Holy shit the accelerometer controls on street view is awesome. Runs so smooth on iPhone 5 it feels like I'm moving around with my camera app open.

I wish, so I could watch it!

Hahaha! You fooled us Kim.

I hear driving 'through' the States is some of the best touring around...? I've seen some pretty sweet roads across Canada but when you get to the prairies it's quite a bit of long straights.

Awesome movie is awesome.

You need to move out to the twisties... There's a real nice ~35km stretch of pure twist near my place that makes a sweet little detour with hardly any traffic in sight. https://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msid=205343189733234737398.0004cf1e675bf653f0a00&msa=0&ll=44.166198,-80.046387&spn=0.198988,0.445976

+1. Had that happen almost. Also had an idiot in front of me on a 4 lane road (2 each way), we were both driving in the right lane, just as we come up to a hwy underpass he switches into the left lane, I speed up in my newly cleared right lane to get ahead of him/onto the hwy (we're under the bridge at this point) and

Valid.

You obviously didn't watch around the 10 min mark. It's all about the basketball.
