You're entitled to your opinion. Just wanted to add that you don't really need easy toggles to turn settings off on iOS because the OS doesn't suck down the battery like Android does. I always leave everything on and have no issues with battery.

Yes, that's true - intellisense rocks, as long as you set it up properly. SQL Server 2008+ is so awesome with Intellisense on tables/field names too - that's so handy...
Yes, but I don't think it's anywhere near that and won't be for a long time. Samsung 'owes' Apple about $1bn, Apple will spend about $7.5bn with Samsung in 2012. So there is a long way to go before it makes sense for Samsung to dump Apple as a customer. That doesn't even take into account that Samsung may not owe them…
Although the other two replies have some credence I don't think they're entirely accurate. In fact, neither is the article. It says this is not quite ready for video games because it doesn't render the sound in real time. Well, most video games aren't in real time either, they work on a bunch of pre-rendered motions…
Make that 18 (plus the numerous ones I didn't count in the comments).
Haha. I just came by to point out the irony in your statement. As it turns out, you are the idiotic one. :)
How does this article signify an obsession? They call it 'the Apple Maps mess' ... This would be a Google Maps obsession, if anything.
Yeah, that's lame about xcode. There is probably a Mac App that can change it, but might be system wide. That'd be a hassle to on/off when it's code time... I haven't done as much app dev as I'd like so it's not an issue for me yet, I'm still mostly Web only. VS is nice, except it runs on Windows and my Windows PC…
The black themes are so much nicer on the eyestrain. I use TextMate with the Blackboard theme. Try it out for awhile. It's nice.
The language has nothing to do with the look. And I highly doubt anyone on the team uses Dreamweaver - because Dreamweaver is garbage. By the looks of it they were using straight up text editors like TextMate, which is what I use for coding.
Pfft. I posted this in /tips 7 hours ago... Thanks for the credit ;)
As if BuzzFeed is taking credit for Epic Meal Times bacon weave.
Got to love Siri - I just say 'remind me to watch the redbull jump on october 8th at 5am MDT time' and it sets me a reminder for 7am my time, I don't even have to calculate the time difference. :)
Without a doubt, best new feature for any web developer is the mobile safari Web Inspector.
+1
Oh, well, either they thought they were talking about designing the chip, not manufacturing, or they're a bunch of idiots - likely the latter.
Nice!
Yeah, except that one drives by GPS and millimeter accurate maps of the road it's on... Not quite the same.
Isn't the whole physics of scratching that the scratcher has to be harder than the scratchee? Plastic is not harder than aluminum.
You mean my moms birthday. #corrections
