Really, what mobile product doesn't have far inferior battery life after 1.5 years of good use than it did the day it was bought. I would say this is a PLUS for buying an iPad. If your battery dies you get an all new iPad for $99 meaning no more scratches, no more aluminum chips no more any other problems you might

You also paid an extra $79 up front. Which means you'd have to replace your battery 4 times to make back that money. Also, $99 charge was for an out of warranty iPad that is 1.5 years old. iPad will probably only ever need 1 (if not 0) battery replacements in it's lifetime so $99 for the one replacement is definitely

Hmm, I brought my iPad 2 in for replacement due to backlight leaking around the edges and the bill had a $249 replacement charge (and -249 credit as it was warrantied still). Is the $100 charge only for battery problems. I believe the $249 is the typical out of warranty replacement cost.

How does this make sense? Do they just pull into a random driveway during the hours they can't use the road? If they're not moving they're sitting still which is still going to take up the same amount of lanes as most driveways aren't very accomodating for 22 axle, 2 million pound trucks.

Wow, you're fucking annoying dude. No one cares about your uneducated opinion about Google+. There is no need to post it as a reply on EVERY comment. Start a new thread if you want everyone to know.

My bad. I mistakenly thought the iPad 2 had 1GB. But now I remember it was worried that it only had 256mb until iFixit found the 512. People thought the 4S would have 1GB but probably had 512mb which is why I said possibly less than iPad (due to thinking iPad was 1GB)

It's nice eh. I've had it since beta 2. Just wanted to make sure you weren't giving public usueless info as they can't download beta iTunes.

I also agree. Temporary sharing is what this. If you're out at the bar, at the beach, out anywhere social then share. But why do you need it on if you're at home, at work, on a date where you don't want random friends popping in cause they happen to be next door etc. etc.

Probably today. lol

I do believe your iPhone has a web browser in it. It's perfect for signing into web interfaces to accomplish web tasks. It's called Safari, in case you were wondering.

No, because then if you forget to save it on your computer it's gone after 30days/1000pics. And then people blame Apple for 'losing' their pictures.

iCloud, not Photostream. Photo stream is just a convenience to get your photos onto different devices, iCloud will still backup ALL your photos and keep them indefinitely as long as you choose 'Back up photos' in the iCloud options and have enough iCloud space to back them all up.

That's definitely the intent. They even specified in the keynote. If you want to save the photo you can import to your photos album or any other folder on a computer.

Nice having built in screenshots eh. Also, Siri will be wicked for this. 'Siri read my message' ... 'Awesome, copy it into a new notes plz and thx' or 'email it to my personal gmail plz'

I don't believe so. At least not in the beta.

This is better than the store even if you deliver them to yourself and then just bring them to a birthday/christmas/baby shower whatever and give them by hand. I wonder if they'll offer bulk pricing to the same address.

More importantly:

Security I believe. I didn't know it applied to Internet as well, but the emails and BBMs are sent through Waterloo to be encrypted.

It's because it is technically a folder itself and you can't put a folder in a folder.

In case anyone didn't notice, you can also set ringtones as text tones. Which means you can likely use iTunes to transfer free text tones!!
